FISHING CHARTERS ON LAKE ONTARIO

What to expect with Orka

We'll board our comfortable and capable fishing yacht at Katelynn Marine on Sodus Bay then head out on one of the world's most incredible ecological wonders.

Lake Ontario may be the smallest Great Lake but it's also a critical fish-migration waterway that the Atlantic Ocean depends on — making for some amazing fishing!

Bring your fishing license, a snack or lunch, and whatever drinks you want to enjoy — BYOB is fine and welcomed! Remember, you've got a captain to guide the way!

Captain Bob and his crew have all the fishing gear and equipment needed. And we'll process your fish at the end of the trip for you to take.

Our fishing vessel is a relaxation station equipped with TV, air conditioning (and heat for those chilly days), a bathroom, a galley kitchen ... and some of the best views imaginable!

When your charter is done, we'll bring you back to shore then process and bag your catch!

MORNING CHARTERS

Our morning fishing charters leave around 5 a.m. for either a 6- or 8-hour trip out of Sodus Bay. Pack a lunch and a cooler and hop aboard!

AFTERNOON CHARTERS

Our afternoon fishing charters are 6 hours long and usually leave Sodus Bay around 2 p.m. Bring your cooler and a snack and let's catch some fish!

UP TO 6 PASSENGERS

Enough room for up to 6 passengers on our 40' Silverton Convertible Yacht, equipped with TV, a bathroom, lounge seating, a kitchen, and more.

JUST SHOW UP WITH YOUR LICENSE

We provide all the fishing gear and equipment needed for a successful day of fishing. And we know all the good spots on Lake Ontario!

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Orka Fishing Charters has been creating memories with anglers for more than 40 years. The boat's captain is U.S. Coast Guard certified and ready to go!

U.S. COAST GUARD CAPTAIN

Captain Bob is a longtime fisherman and skilled boat captain with a U.S. Coast Guard Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV) license, commonly referred to as the "6-pack."

FISH YOU'LL CATCH

We will be fishing for various types of trout and salmon and some of the busiest fish waterways in the Northeast. Bring some drinks and snacks, and enjoy!

LAKE ONTARIO FISHING SEASON

The fishing season out of Sodus Point starts in April and runs until October. Dress appropriately — long sleeves, a hat, sunglasses — and let's have some fun!
